The Grudge is a film of 2004 and it is a supernatural horror film and by Takashi Shimizu it is directed and by Stephen Susco it is written, and by Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert, and Takashige Ichise it is produced.
Of Shimizu’s 2002 Japanese horror film Ju-On: The Grudge is the remake and we saw stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, KaDee Strickland, Jason Behr, Clea DuVall, and Bill Pullman in the lead roles, and in The Grudge film series it is the first installment which is based on the Japanese Ju-On films. Through a nonlinear sequence of events the plot is told, and includes several intersecting subplots.
When the American remake of The Ring, Sony Pictures has been successful it had green-lit an American remake of Ju-On: The Grudge. The writer and director of the original film is Shimizu, was to direct the film is hired, from a screenplay written by Susco. On January 26, 2004 Principal photography of the film began and wrapped in Tokyo, Japan in July 2004.
By Columbia Pictures The Grudge was released in North America on October 22, 2004. With criticism for its lack of scares and confusing plot, the film received mixed reviews and was a box-office success, making over $187 million against a $10 million budget. By two sequels, The Grudge 2 (2006) and The Grudge 3 (2009) the film was followed.
The Grudge follows the plotline in which we saw that here a curse is described here that in the grip of extreme rage or sorrow born when someone dies. Where the person died the curse is an entity created.
